Membership
ILP members will gain the opportunity to provide high-quality online events, with attention to EDI, for their library patrons at an equitable cost. These virtual events will connect communities and audiences across the state through shared event experiences and program resource sharing.
Illinois Libraries Present (ILP) is excited to announce Season 4 membership is now open for new members! We are thrilled Neil Gaiman will launch Season 4 in September 2024. We hope you and your library will join us for a fantastic lineup of presenters including Erika L. Sánchez, Jason Reynolds, Chef Art Smith, Michelle Buteau, James McBride, and more! The deadline to sign up is March 31, 2024.
Launching September 2024 and running through May 2025, our nine-month season will include 11+ exciting virtual programs, including two events featuring kids/teen authors!
Current ILP members DO NOT need to fill out this form and will receive renewal information in March 2024.
Each library’s membership fee is based on their operating budget:
$0-$249,999 | $70.00
$250,000-$749,999 | $135.00
$750,000-$1,499,999 | $365.00
$1,500,000-$2,999,999 | $685.00
$3,000,000-$4,999,999 | $1,375.00
$5,000,000+ | $2,100.00
The Illinois Libraries Present membership fee is all-inclusive and includes:
Participation in monthly shared programs with other libraries across the state (at least 11 high-quality events will be offered over 9 months)
High-quality event production for each event
Suites of marketing materials and high-quality graphics to be shared by all participating members
Potential access to ILP's large-scale Zoom account for collaborative events your library would like to spearhead ($25 per use)
How to become a member:
Submit a Season 4 membership interest form on behalf of your library by March 31, 2024.
New members will have their library’s board sign the Inter-Governmental Agreement and submit the completed agreement to accountspayable@northbrook.info by April 30, 2024. Previous season members with an IGA on file will receive renewal information in March 2024.
Your library will receive an invoice in September 2024.
